The newly built Etap Yesod HaMaalah Hotel introduces a new concept to the Israeli hotel industry. It is the first automated, partially self-service hotel in Israel, enabling guests to check-in to a room of their choice twenty-four hours a day, every day of the year. The two-floor hotel offers 120 comfortable, identically furnished rooms, many with spectacular views of the surrounding countryside, and plenty of parking. In keeping with the Etap hotel chain's philosophy of providing basic, comfortable, inexpensive rooms, the Etap Yesod HaMaalah Hotel serves a continental breakfast for a small additional charge in the hotel's pleasant dining room. A shopping center, adjacent to the hotel, has a full service restaurant, a coffee shop, and several clothing stores and gifts shops. The Etap Yesod HaMaalah Hotel is centrally located in one of Israel's largest playgrounds for outdoor adventure enthusiasts. Israelis and tourists can enjoy a wide range of recreational activity including mountain biking, downhill skiing, white water rafting and kayaking, hiking, horseback riding, and hang gliding.
