Tel Aviv Port

The Tel Aviv sea port was built throughout the time of the British mandate over israel. In 1948, with the formal foundation of the state of Israel, the first ship bringing immigrants to Israel has set on the ground of Tel Aviv port under the Israeli flag.

The first port of Israel was born at 1936 and now is a prospering hang out district with fresh restaurants opening all the time, bars, shops and clubs that are definitely worth a visit, all approachable by a 14000 square meters of a wooden deck that its form was influenced by the Tel Aviv sand dunes.
The port was closed in the 60's as an active sea port, and was rousing in the 80's as a nightlife and water sports center.
The huge advantage of the port region is that it offers activities all through the day, you can enjoy the morning or afternoon there with family and kids eating or simply taking a stroll along the pier to the Yarkon estuary to the sea but also get pleasure from nighttime activity. there are a several of options offering a very different kind of experience. almost all of it bars and restaurants are open during the day. a lot different fairs and festivals take place in the region

In spring, summer, and on sunny winter days, the Tel Aviv pleasant port is certainly worth a daytime visit. The views are lovely, with the Yarkon River and the sea gathering; it's specially nice to watch from the bridge connecting the two river shore.

The Tel Aviv old Port is easily approachable by public transportation.
